Many bright young women demonstrate a passion for learning but don’t have the financial means necessary to access the books and resources they need for their academic success.

As college becomes increasingly expensive, a degree is less and less attainable for the average student. These financial hurdles are particularly high for students from low-income backgrounds who likely will have little or no monetary assistance from their families when it comes time to enroll in school.

This scholarship seeks to support young women pursuing higher education by helping to cover the cost of essential reading materials and other necessities.

Any female undergraduate student who is a first-generation college student and a low-income individual may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

To apply, tell us about your journey as an FGLI student, your goals, and why attending college is important for you. Additionally, upload a picture of your family.
