Volunteering experience

The future belongs to people who build things, whether that means businesses, technology, community programs, creative projects, or solutions to real-world problems.

Originals 3D believes that progress is driven by individuals who are willing to think creatively, solve problems, and invest in the success of others. Too often, scholarships focus solely on grades, ignoring students who may not earn top marks but excel in leadership, innovation, perseverance, or helping others succeed. Uplifting students who are already making an impact can encourage the next generation of leaders to forge their paths and bring others up behind them.

This scholarship aims to support builders, problem-solvers, and future leaders who are actively working to make a difference rather than simply talking about it.

Any undergraduate freshman, sophomore, or junior attending college in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C. may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have at least a 3.0 GPA and volunteering experience. While academic achievement is important, this scholarship places equal value on character, perseverance, and a willingness to take action. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership, overcome significant challenges, served their communities, created innovative solutions to problems, or shown a strong commitment to helping others succeed.

To apply, tell us about a belief, assumption, or perspective you held at the age of sixteen that you no longer hold and discuss what led to your change in perspective and how this growth has impacted your approach to life. Additionally, you may upload your transcript, though this step is optional.
