Engineering is a powerful and exciting field that is one of the biggest drivers of progress throughout the world.
It takes a special kind of talent and passion to excel in engineering. Students with creative minds and an aptitude for engineering should never be held back by their financial circumstances. All students should be uplifted and encouraged to pursue their academic and professional goals so they can make their mark on the world.
This scholarship seeks to support students who are passionate about engineering and creating something of their own, and was created by David Goodnight, the author of "Financing The World We Trade In." All applicants will be able to receive a free download of the book!
Any four-year undergraduate student who is pursuing engineering may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are a critical thinker with a vision and a plan. The ideal applicant is an entrepreneur who wants to start their own firm or launch their own project or invention.
To apply, tell us where you will be in ten years, where you will work, and what you hope to accomplish. Additionally, upload an attachment that you deem applicable to your vision. This attachment could be a drawing, rough schematics, building, objects, etc.
Where will you be in ten years? Respond with an actionable plan and vision. A bullet point response is fine; we’re looking for precision. Your response should be written from an entrepreneurial angle. Where will you work and what will you accomplish? We’re looking for students who are entrepreneurs and want to start their own firm or their own project, invention, etc.
The application deadline is Jan 3, 2027. Winners will be announced on Feb 4, 2027.
