Damodhar was a firm believer in the importance of pursuing excellence in education, particularly in niche and cutting-edge fields. He believed deeply in the transformative power of knowledge and its ability to change lives.
Sociologix LLC is a tech company specializing in designing digital workspaces for Fortune 100 companies and inspired by Damodhar’s passion for innovation and education.
This scholarship seeks to honor the legacy of Damodhar Masram by supporting students who are motivated, driven, and passionate about making a meaningful impact through their studies and work.
Any legal first-generation immigrant who has earned a four-year bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and is now pursuing a STEM-related graduate program may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have relevant work experience in the technology or digital technology sector and a demonstrated interest or portfolio in technology design. A focus on blockchain or digital technology is advantageous but not required. Winners will demonstrate academic excellence, a commitment to innovation, and the resilience to overcome challenges, particularly in their pursuit of higher education.

The winner will be publicly announced on Jun 2, 2025. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
