Cheryl was known for her tireless work ethic, quiet strength, and willingness to put the needs of others before her own. Her life was a testament to resilience, responsibility, and the power of perseverance.

This scholarship aims to honor the life and legacy of Cheryl W. Goo-Rego by supporting students who demonstrate resilience, responsibility, and strong character.

Any graduating senior from Kauaʻi High School in Hawaii may apply for this scholarship opportunity. The ideal applicant demonstrates resilience, responsibility, and integrity, showing maturity beyond their years, a strong sense of commitment to their future, and meaningful engagement in their family, school, work, or community. Students who have demonstrated perseverance while navigating personal or financial challenges are especially encouraged to apply.
