Charlene K. Howard was a beloved sister and an educational leader and mentor at FSU, as well as an academic advisor at FAMU.

Education has a transformative power and can completely change the trajectory of a student’s life. From career opportunities to the ability to leave home and foster new connections to the chance to broaden one’s mind and discover new passions, a college education offers many advantages to students.

This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Charlene Howard by supporting students who share her commitment to education.

Any Black female high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who has non-profit or volunteering experience may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
