Ava Wood Stupendous Love Scholarship
Ava Wood carried a spirit of stupendous love into every room she ever walked into, uplifting everyone around her and fostering joy.
Ava had a kindness that disarmed people, she promoted inclusivity that made everyone feel seen, and she possessed a quiet but powerful courage to live boldly and authentically. Students like Ava, who not only uplift others but also choose to show up as their real and messy selves, contribute to a welcoming community that embraces difference and shuts down expectations of fitting in.
This scholarship aims to honor the legacy of Ava Wood by supporting students who choose compassion over comparison, bravery over conformity, and stupendous, wholehearted love over everything else.
Any high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA who plays a sport and has volunteering experience may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they demonstrate a consistent commitment to kindness, friendship, and inclusivity, as well as leadership, empathy, authenticity, courage, resilience, and bravery.
