Pursuing higher education and earning a degree requires dedication, resilience, and, often, financial sacrifice.
Students who embody these traits and who are determined to make a difference in their communities and beyond should be uplifted so they can overcome any financial barriers that stand in their way. North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and North Carolina Central University are two esteemed Historically Black Universities in North Carolina. While these schools may boast more affordable tuition, the cost of attendance and the burdens of living expenses can still make it difficult for the average student to afford to complete their programs.
This scholarship aims to honor the values of faith, perseverance, and the transformative power of education—principles that have guided the Aikens’ family.
