OMNIS Scholarship
In recent years, the cost of college has risen significantly, making higher education increasingly out of reach for many students. For individuals facing financial barriers, such as migrants and seasonal farm workers, the high costs of tuition, textbooks, technology, and housing can be overwhelming.
For students with financial challenges, starting at a community college before transferring to a four-year university can be an effective and more affordable way to continue their education. This scholarship is designed to support students enrolled at Chemeketa Community College as they prepare to further their academic journey.
Any low-income, minority student pursuing a two-year degree at Chemeketa Community College in Oregon, with plans to transfer to a four-year institution by Fall 2025 may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Students participating in Chemeketa's College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) are especially encouraged to apply.
To apply, please share how receiving this scholarship would positively impact your educational journey and help you achieve your academic goals.
