The Osborne High School Class of 2005 is proud to present the 2005 Alumni Scholarship—a tribute to the memories, friendships, and life lessons shaped at Osborne High School.

As we reflect on our own journey, many of us remember how those formative high school years laid the foundation for our futures. Whether it was cheering under the Friday night lights, walking the halls in Cardinal red, or being part of something greater than ourselves, Osborne taught us the value of pride, perseverance, and purpose. Our beloved Cardinal spirit still lives strong in us, and now, twenty years later, we want to give back.

This scholarship seeks to support the Class of 2025 and to reach out across generations and say, "We see you. We believe in you. And we want to help you soar." This is more than just a scholarship—it's a symbol of community, legacy, and Cardinal pride. From the Class of 2005 to the Class of 2025: Keep soaring high and go Cardinals!

Osborne High School has truly shaped me into the person I am today. That journey started with football. Being on the team was the first time I really felt like I belonged somewhere. As an only child, I didn’t grow up with siblings, so I never knew what brotherhood felt like until I stepped on that field. My teammates became my brothers. They taught me how to be tough, how to stand up for myself when things got hard, and how to keep pushing forward even when life didn’t go my way. More than that, I found strong role models in Coach Ironside, Coach Salam, and Coach T. They showed me what it means to be a real man someone who earns respect by staying true to his values, not by demanding it. They didn’t let me off easy; they held me accountable and pushed me to be better every single day. Thanks to them, I started to see myself and my future—differently. But it wasn’t just football. In the classroom, I met teachers who genuinely cared about me. For the first time, I felt like people believed in me and wanted me to succeed. I’ll never forget when Mr. Williams bought me ACT prep courses out of his own pocket. That small act made a big impact. It reminded me that I’m not in this alone that there are people rooting for me and investing in my future. Osborne gave me more than an education. It gave me confidence, direction, and a sense of belonging. It taught me how to lead, how to work hard, and how to keep going when things get tough. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I wouldn’t be who I am without the people and experiences I had at Osborne.
