The Udonis Haslem Foundation proudly announces the launch of the BDJ40 Scholarship, a $15,000 educational award created to support one deserving high school senior from Miami-Dade or Broward County who demonstrates academic excellence, community involvement, and a strong personal commitment to growth and leadership.
Founded by three-time NBA Champion and 20-year Miami HEAT veteran Udonis Haslem, the Udonis Haslem Foundation’s work centers on three pillars — Mental Health, UD Kids, and Community Accessibility — and is deeply inspired by Udonis’s late parents, Barbara, Debra, and Johnnie, whose lifelong commitments to education and generosity continue to shape the organization’s vision.
The BDJ40 Scholarship seeks to uplift students who are highly motivated to succeed despite socio-economic challenges and who demonstrate a desire to positively impact their communities.
Through this scholarship, the Udonis Haslem Foundation continues its commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders across South Florida — students who embody resilience, compassion, and the determination to turn opportunity into impact.
