JuJu Smith-Schuster Doubles Down on Bold.org Scholarship, Increasing Amount to $20,000

SAN FRANCISCO (MARCH 3, 2021) – Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster, contributes an additional $10,000 toward the JuJu Foundation Scholarship, increasing the amount to $20,000. JuJu’s generous addition follows his recent partnership with Bold.org — the scholarship platform fighting student debt through philanthropy. The partnership launched in February to honor Black History Month for Bold.org’s Year of Giving Campaign.

JuJu Smith-Schuster is an all-star NFL receiver. On the field, he is the youngest player to reach 2,500 career-receiving yards. Off the field, JuJu supports youth through his charity, the JuJu Foundation. Since its launch in 2019, the foundation has been committed to philanthropic efforts, primarily to support children in need. His next philanthropic effort is the JuJu Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship will now help four undergraduate or high school students who face financial burdens, awarding them $5,000 each toward their education.
