Youth Civic Engagement Scholarship Fund

Greater youth civic engagement means a healthier civic life for our entire community. This nonpartisan scholarship will award $2,500 to a deserving high school junior or senior in DC, Virginia, or Maryland who is making a mark on their community through politics, advocacy, or other civic engagement activities. Hopefully, this award will expand to include additional second and third-place scholarships to area students.

This award was started by Anna Kelly to grow civic engagement in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. While students in the DMV grow up in or near the Nation’s Capital, these communities aren’t leading in youth civic engagement.
