You Deserve This Scholarship Fund

I was a teenage mom with a dream of continuing to pursue my college degree. Not only did I want to pursue my college degree, I wanted to attend my dream college. I moved an hour away from home, worked up to 60 hours a week, attended school full-time and raised my son. It was challenging, but the reward has been great. The support of many around me, my co-workers at my job, my parents, friends and professors, is why I was able to graduate. Additionally, without school loans, dedication, and hard work, college and raising my son would not have been obtainable. I've been blessed and give God all the glory. I want to bless others as I've been blessed. I was able to watch my son, the child of a teenage mother, walk across the stage and receive his 4-year degree, and I could not have been prouder. This scholarship is a way for me to help another young teenage mom where the odds and society is stacked against her to achieve her dream of going to college.
