Our story
Xzavier ‘PJ’ Tillman-Shaw was a one-of-a-kind, loving, compassionate son, brother, cousin, and nephew. Having lost both of his parents at a young age, PJ strived for a better life abroad in Japan to live as a monk. A student of the Japanese language and anime. PJ was an avid fan of many anime like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. He held high grades in Japanese in high school and college. Unfortunately, PJ succumbed to an untimely seizure that would take his life on October 31st, 2023. He was only 20 years old. We wish to preserve his legacy through the current and next generation of international relations professionals, self-proclaimed otakus, and those studying the Japanese language.
Our goal
We aim to raise $1,000 for one deserving Black man in an undergraduate or community college program. We wish to pass the flame of Xzaiver’s legacy onto men who want to live abroad. With your help, we can illuminate a brighter future for the world. Thank you for your consideration and for keeping Xavier’s legacy alive through sharing, donating, and prayers for his family, friends, and classmates.
