Women in Sports Scholarship Fund

Starting a Women in Sports Scholarship Fund is deeply important to me because it represents everything I stand for — opportunity, empowerment, and giving back to the community that shaped me. Sports have played a transformative role in my life, teaching me discipline, resilience, and confidence, and connecting me to a network of incredible people who have supported my growth both personally and professionally. I know firsthand how much access and financial support can impact a young woman’s ability to pursue her education and athletic dreams, and I want to help make that path a little easier for those coming after me. Even with the progress women have made in athletics, there are still major gaps in visibility, funding, and support. This scholarship is my way of helping bridge that gap — a small but meaningful step toward creating more equity in sports. Representation matters, and I want young women to see that there are people who believe in them and want to invest in their future. I hope this scholarship inspires them to keep going, to stay passionate, and to know that their hard work truly matters. For me, this fund is more than just financial aid — it’s a legacy. As a coach and mentor, I’ve been fortunate to influence lives on and off the field, but this scholarship allows me to extend that impact far beyond the players I directly work with. It’s a reflection of my values and my commitment to strengthening the sports community by uplifting women who deserve to be seen and supported. Ultimately, this scholarship is about living my purpose — helping others find their place, believe in themselves, and chase their goals with the same determination that has guided me throughout my journey.
