Winston James Minority Men in STEM Scholarship Fund

I am starting this fund because I believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Throughout my own STEM journey, I have benefited from the encouragement, mentorship, and support of people who believed in me and helped me persevere through challenges. I want to create those same opportunities for the next generation. Through Her Future in STEM, and subsequently His Future in STEM, my goal is to support students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through scholarships, mentorship, resources, and educational programming. While financial support can help remove barriers, I believe students also need encouragement, guidance, and access to opportunities in order to thrive. This fund will initially support the Winston James Minority Men in STEM Scholarship, with the long-term goal of expanding scholarship opportunities for underrepresented students pursuing STEM education. Ultimately, I hope this fund becomes a vehicle for investing in future scientists, engineers, physicians, researchers, technologists, and innovators while helping create a stronger and more diverse STEM workforce for generations to come.
