William R. Godfrey Scholarship Fund

The William R. Godfrey Scholarship was created to honor the life and legacy of our father. He was born in a small town in Georgia south of Atlanta, to a family of farmers. William learned the value of both hard work and education. William attended an HBCU in Atlanta, GA and majored in business administration. Later he went on to earn an MBA. He went on to have a successful career in city, county and federal governments, helping others along the way through his mentorship. He was also a successful entrepreneur for decades. William encouraged education, action and fiscal responsibility. This scholarship fund aims to help minorities entering or attending an HBCU, majoring in an area of business.
