Our story

I want to honor the memory of my father by creating a scholarship. My dad always promoted education along with the importance of being academically inclined. He had a deep love for helping people excel in life. He had a strong work ethic, showing through his life how it looks to excel. He was a hard worker who was filled with a lot of wit. He showed us it's ok to laugh out loud and laugh at ourselves. He taught me to smile when it hurts. He was always smiling. He had a contagious laugh; there would be times I would hear him laughing and I honestly did not know what he was laughing at, but I would start laughing too.

Our goal

Starting a scholarship in the memory of my father would be an outstanding way to make an impact on the world, change the lives of students and leave a legacy for my dad. It will be gratifying to make a lasting impact on individuals striving for education, which fosters a sense of social responsibility. I want to give a symbol of hope, faith and encouragement to students that God will put people in place to assist in making dreams come true.

He always stressed the importance of education. Either to pursue a lucrative and fruitful career within our choice of study, or as a plan B to fall back on something if we decided to pursue something else when other ventures didn't pan out as expected.
