As a single mother of six children and a remarkable pillar of the community, Cecyl Watson showed unshakable dedication. Her selflessness went far beyond her personal family, as she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people in her neighborhood. She spent endless hours serving her church, feeding not only the spiritual but also the material needs of families in need. She became an enduring source of inspiration for decades through her clothing contributions and unrelenting dedication to helping others. We are pleased to announce the creation of the Watson Memorial Fund in honor of Ms. Watson's outstanding life and the remarkable influence she had. This foundation intends to honor and assist those who share the extraordinary qualities and spirit of volunteerism exemplified by Ms. Watson, my beloved grandmother.
