Vanessa Rueda was a beloved mother who led an incredible life and a remarkable career that made a real impact on the world. Vanessa was a Latina trial attorney born in Colombia who's family immigrated to the United States when she was a child. She spent her career defending the rights of others, especially the Latino community. Vanessa served as a mentor to other attorneys, helping them grow in their careers and serve their clients to the best of their abilities. This scholarship fund seeks to honor the memory of Vanessa Rueda by supporting Latina students pursuing careers in the legal field.
