Unity Through Knowledge Scholarship Fund

The Alawite community has received no coverage. I believe this is the first scholarship ever dedicated to Alawite students. Alawites are a small religious group, approximately 2.6 million people worldwide, spread across various countries. Their representation in America is minimal or nonexistent. We find this initiative especially meaningful for students, supporting them to feel seen and supported by those who understand their experiences. As a member of this group, I share the same beliefs and respect for all minorities. I value all religions and cultures, but I found it very crucial to develop a scholarship meant specifically for Alawites, as they are underrepresented.
