Our story

In 2022, University of North Carolina football player, Tylee Craft was diagnosed with a rare form of stage 4 lung cancer. Following this diagnosis, Tylee was able to touch countless lives by demonstrating determination and perseverance on a daily basis. Even when his illness prohibited him from competing on the field, he refused to neglect his commitment to the Tar Heel Football Program, he showed up every single day for practice and team meetings. Tylee turned his "Keep Swinging" mantra a lifestyle that we all can draw inspiration from for years to come. Tylee's name and legacy has and will continue to be honored at Chapel Hill, but we want his life and legacy to continue to inspire student athletes in Sumter, South Carolina, the place that Tylee called home. The Tylee Craft Memorial Scholarship Fund was curated to promote the commitment to athletic and academic excellence. Although Tylee's life was cut short by such a devastating disease, we are confident that each recipient of this scholarship will serve as an extension of his legacy.

Our goal

In an effort to promote excellence in academics and athletics, Brothers Incorporated and the Craft Family are proud to announce the Tylee Craft Memorial Scholarship. Tylee strived for excellence in every aspect of his life. Even in the face of life altering adversity, Tylee's determination never wavered, and it is our obligation to make sure his name and legacy are preserved for years to come.
