Triginta Scholarship Fund

My younger brother came out as trans during his sophomore year of high school and seeing him succeed has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Unfortunately many families and communities do not adequately support young trans students and this creates additional barriers to receive higher education. I have already submitted a proposal to create a $1500 scholarship for one trans identifying student each year who is interested in pursuing higher education either at a 2 or 4 year institution. I've had success in the past fundraising for charities that I believe in and with my 30th birthday coming up I'd like to establish something of my own to give back. I work for a prominent team within the music industry and have a wide and well connected network that I believe would be receptive to a scholarship of this nature.
