Our story
Tragically, Sky was shot while she was home alone on Christmas morning by someone in connection to her domestically abusive ex-boyfriend, whom she was supposed to stand as a witness against. She passed away the morning of January 2nd in the hospital.
Sky was an exceptionally strong person who motivated her peers and lived a life of achievement despite the obstacles she faced, showing those around her what was possible through hard work.
Our goal
To honor the life of Sky Lemmons-Dixon by supporting women who have faced hardship in their lives.
This fundraiser will help continue scholarships for female high school seniors who struggle with mental health, domestic abuse, and/or substance abuse.
