Our story
Tim was a passionate music lover, avid collector, part-time professional DJ, and an audio-visual technical wizard. His life was defined by his love for music, spanning genres like classical, jazz, rock, disco, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic dance, among others. Through the 80s to the 2000s, Tim's technical expertise helped build recording studios and design sound systems for various venues, from mobile DJ setups to sophisticated nightclub installations.
Tim's passion for music shaped his friendships and relationships, and he delighted in sharing his love of music with others, encouraging them to embrace its power.
Our goal
I want to start a scholarship fund in my friend's name, Timothy Wayne Edwards. My best friend, mentor, and brother. At the young age of 55 years old, Tim lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, April 22nd.
As an avid music collector, connoisseur, part-time professional DJ, and audio-visual technical wizard, Tim's life revolved around music of many genres including, classical, jazz, rock, disco, R&B, Hip-Hop, and electronic dance, among others. From the 80s well into the 2000's, his technical work and skill were instrumental in designing and building small recording studios, and sound systems from mobile DJ space, to highly sophisticated nightclub installations.
Music was the glue that solidified and created many of his friendships and relationships. He loved to share his passion for music and encouraged others to open their minds and hearts using the power of music.
I want to continue to help Tim, his family, and his friends share his passion for music by providing scholarships to deserving young individuals who aspire to pursue a career in the musical arts.
I think that Tim would be proud and supportive of this endeavor which would allow his spirit to live on through others' musical dreams.
