Thomas Sisters Scholars

My sister and I have established a scholarship fund to support minority students from our high school Alma mater, Metter High School, with the aim of helping them pursue collegiate degrees. These scholarships serve two primary goals: first, to encourage and support minority women in STEM fields, particularly engineering, as we both did during our time at Tuskegee University; and second, to promote attendance at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). We believe that an education from an HBCU provides a unique and empowering experience, and we hope this fund will inspire students to consider these institutions as a pathway to academic and professional success. By assisting in removing financial barriers, we aim to equip students with the resources they need to achieve their dreams and become leaders in their chosen fields.
