Our story

Thomas Griffin Wilson was an incredibly big-hearted son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He loved deeply and was all in with his friendships and relationships. He was a tremendously kind and empathetic soul. He loved animals (especially his dogs Rockie Muffin and Jake) and most sports. He loved the camaraderie of team sports (especially football). He played with passion and bigger than his physical stature. He had a special ability to develop deep and binding relationships. He was always a loyal friend. We adopted Thomas at birth and in recent years he started a relationship with his half-sister who had experienced life in the foster system. Thomas had a deep bond with her and wanted to help.

Our goal

Our family would like to honor Thomas’ memory and big heart by establishing a scholarship fund to support students who have experienced the foster care system or otherwise in financial need. Our hope is that this financial support ensures that these young people have the resources necessary to take their kindness, compassion, and love into professions where they can continue to have a positive impact on others.
