The Vietnamese Freedom and Heritage Scholarship Fund

I am starting The Vietnamese Freedom and Heritage Scholarship to honor the legacy of South Vietnamese refugees — like my father — who fled their homeland in search of freedom and opportunity after the fall of Saigon. As a second-generation Vietnamese-American, I’ve witnessed the resilience and sacrifices of our community and the challenges many face in accessing higher education due to cultural, familial, or financial barriers. This scholarship aims to support Vietnamese-American students, especially those who are descendants of refugees and proud of their heritage, symbolized by the Vietnamese Freedom and Heritage Flag. By providing tuition assistance, this fund will help empower the next generation of Vietnamese-American leaders who carry forward our legacy of perseverance, identity, and commitment to community.
