Theresa Lord Future Leader Scholarship Fund

Theresa Lord was a kind, generous, and intelligent woman who believed education was an important tool that could change the lives of African American students. Theresa left behind seven children, thirty grandchildren, and even 25 great-grandchildren. Even in old age, Theresa made sure to attend the graduations of all her family members as she believed graduation was a critical milestone that she wanted to witness. The Lord family has been honoring Theresa's life since October 2021 by supporting African American or Caribbean-descended students who are working to complete their college degrees.

The Lord family is devoted to providing financial assistance to deserving students who are trying to pursue higher education.
