Our goal
This fund will be used to create The Purple Dream Scholarship.
Single mothers often face incredibly difficult challenges and demanding responsibilities that can make it difficult to prioritize their dreams.
From the financial struggles that come with not having a partner to contribute to household expenses, to difficulties finding childcare in order to work or go to school, and to the limited personal time available due to the long hours of parenting, it can feel impossible to get through the day in one piece let alone pursue a college degree. However, many single mothers show an unwavering determination to build a brighter future for themselves and their families, putting in the work in their roles as both students and parents in order to change their circumstances.
This scholarship aims to empower single mothers who are determined to pursue or complete their college education, regardless of the hurdles they face.

I think it’s great that there’s a scholarship available to single-moms who need that extra help in achieving their goals for not only them, but their little one(s) as well!!
