Pablo M. Ortiz Scholarship Fund

Pablo M. Ortiz was a developer, a beloved colleague, and a friend. He left this world too soon, passing away last year. As the world becomes increasingly reliant on technology, students who want to follow in Pablo’s footsteps and become software engineers are critical. Since the high cost of college makes degrees inaccessible to many students, Chelsie-Jean Fernandez has created this scholarship fund to support students going into computer science. Chelsie-Jean is a product manager based in New York and has been fighting student debt in memory of Pablo M. Ortiz since January 2022.

This scholarship fund will support underrepresented students who are interested in software engineering or computer science.
