Mo Lottie Simons BELIEVE scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund has been fighting student debt since December 2021, focusing on creating opportunities for minority students. BIPOC students face many different challenges in higher education, such as a lack of mentors. Not even 25% of faculty members are BIPOC, leading to few opportunities for mentorship as well as a lack of faculty who understand the experiences of students of color. This fund will give more resources to BIPOC students from South Carolina.

This scholarship fund will support students in South Carolina who demonstrate interest in community service and hard work in their academics.
