Manny and Sylvia Weiner Medical Scholarship Fund

The Mezaros/Weiner Family has been fighting student debt as a donor with Bold.org since September 2021. Through their scholarship fund, they honor the patriarch of their family, Emanuel "Manny” Weiner, and the matriarch, Sylvia Weiner. Manny graduated from college in a pre-med program, but due to financial hardship and the antisemitic student quotas of the day, he was unable to attend medical school. Despite that setback, together they built a loving home and raised a thriving family. In memory of Manny and Sylvia, this scholarship fund will give opportunities to students with financial need so they can pursue medical school and achieve their dreams.

This scholarship fund is in in memory of Manny and his wife, Sylvia, and will support undergraduates on a pre-med track or current medical students from New Jersey or New York.
