Mahlagha Jaberi Mental Health Awareness for Immigrants Scholarship Fund

Mahlagha Jaberi is an Iranian American fashion model and social media influencer who focuses on spreading positivity and love in a world that can be full of hate. She has been a donor with Bold.org since January 2021, fighting student debt for first and second generation immigrant students. People immigrate to the United States for a variety of reasons, including the search for economic opportunity, novel experiences, escape from unsafe conditions, and more. And while many immigrants have unlocked opportunities and built better lives in the United States, this process often comes with a cost. Immigrants have to navigate anti-immigration policies, unequal access to opportunity, and cultural hostility and resentment. To combat the mental toll this can take on immigrant students, Mahlagha has created this scholarship fund to give support to first generation and second generation immigrant students.

This scholarship fund exists to raise awareness for the mental health of immigrants in the United States.
