Lila Foundation Scholarship Fund

John Leung has been fighting student debt since December 2020. He specializes in supporting ultrasound technicians, since they are often unsung heroes in the medical field. Ultrasound technicians are critical in understanding the health, condition, and overall status of unborn children. Painting a clear picture for parents is important in preparing them for their child’s entrance into the world. For many families, having a prenatal care physician of their ethnicity helps the process of childbirth and gives the family a sense of comfort. This fund therefore helps support diversity in the field by financially supporting Hispanic ultrasound technician students.

This scholarship fund will support Hispanic students in the Las Vegas area who is interested in pursuing a career in ultrasonography, cardiac sonography, cardiac echo studies, doppler studies, or vascular studies.
