LGBTQIA Arts and Personal Development Scholarship Fund

Thomas Obershaw has been fighting student debt with Bold.org and supporting LGBTQ+ artists with scholarships since January 2021. A stylist at Trademarc Salon, Thomas is passionate about his form of art and seeks to encourage students to pursue whatever artform they can express themselves through. For many people in the LGBTQ+ community, art is a transcendental mechanism for healing, joy, and self-expression. Opening unique opportunities helps mitigate the many societal barriers that persist and limit their journey toward equal opportunity and success. This fund is one of those opportunities, giving LGBTQ+ artists the chance to prepare for their futures.
