Our story

Cedric Scott, Jr. has been fighting student debt through Bold.org since October 2021 as a way of encouraging African American students who look to pursue a career in STEM. Since STEM sectors are sorely lacking in diversity,Cedric Scott, Jr. seeks to give more opportunities for Black students in STEM. In honor of Julia Elizabeth, this fund will go toward giving financial supporting to up-and-coming Black students as they follow their passions in STEM fields.

Our goal

The mission of this scholarship fund is to promote affirming representation and access to high quality educational resources.
