Gullah / Southern Studies South Carolina Scholarship Fund

The Kyle family has been fighting student debt with Bold.org since July 2020, supporting students from the Gullah culture in South Carolina. The Gullah people of the Lowcountry have an incredibly vibrant, resilient culture that has survived for more than 3 centuries. Gullah culture is rich in storytelling, folklore, music, visual arts, crafts, and cuisine. As part of the effort to preserve and grow Gullah culture, this scholarship fund will help support undergraduate or graduate students from the Gullah community or who are engaged in Southern Studies and/or similar fields.

The mission of this fund is to help students with their educational goals.
