Our story
Lee Cortez immigrated to the US at age fifteen and has learned about the lack of scholarships available to Filipino Americans firsthand. After struggling to come up with the money for college at Berkeley, Lee has made it his mission to provide funding for Filipino American students so they can complete their degrees and enjoy more opportunities for the future. Since October 2021, Lee has been donating to support Filipino American students in need and has already helped multiple students afford their educational costs.
Our goal
Lee Cortez has personally experienced the stress of not being able to pay for college and now hopes to help other Filipino Americans afford higher education so they can pursue their dreams.
