Our story
D. Cox was a passionate music lover, a devoted son, an uplifting brother, and a loyal friend. After earning his music education at Full Sail University, he worked tirelessly to build his own studio and make a name for himself. His dedication led him to become the Chief Audio Engineer at one of Atlanta’s top recording studios, where he was known for his integrity, attention to detail, and ability to form lasting connections with clients.
One of his most memorable quotes was, "Do what you love and love what you do." He truly believed in following your passion and nurturing it, a message that continues to inspire those who knew him.
D. Cox’s legacy lives on amongst the countless family members, friends, and colleagues whose lives he touched with his talent, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
Our goal
This fund is established in memory of D. Cox. The goal is to raise money for a music technology scholarship held in his name that honors his legacy and passion by empowering young adults who are pursuing an education and career in music technology.
