Parenting is never easy, and when you’re raising a family on your own, the challenges can feel overwhelming. Balancing family, work, and personal goals can feel impossible and can make parents feel like they’re doing too little, no matter how hard they try. Single fathers face unique obstacles, yet their strength and dedication are too often overlooked. With millions of single dads in the United States, making up nearly a quarter of all single-parent households, it’s time to change that narrative. Single Dads United exists to support fathers who shoulder the responsibilities of parenting alone. Education is a powerful tool for building a brighter future for oneself and one’s children. However, it can be hard to access the academic world as a busy single parent or as a child with limited parental guidance. Contributing to this fund will support those who have either been raised by single dads, or are single dads themselves pursue further education.
