Our goal

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has an ongoing impact to students with a connection to Ukraine. These students include refugees fleeing the war, children whose parents are serving in Ukrainian military, children of families who've fled Russia due their views on the war, and any others who are experiencing economic, academic, or psychological trauma as a result of Russia's war in Ukraine. The purpose of this fund is to support tenacious students who are ready to push beyond their hardships and engage in educational pursuits that will empower them to restore their personal well-being, support the health and stability of their families, and promote justice in their local and global communities.

Without Scholarship Funds, I would not have been able to attend college. I’m thankful that an opportunity was available to me.

Thank you to the founders of this scholarship Curtis and Julia Oden. I support this initiative to honor all people who fight for peace and their dignity in memory of my parents Pavel Istomina and Raisa Istomina, who were passionate educators.
