Shirley Connally Education is Power Scholarship Fund

Shirley Connally was a beloved mother and grandmother who highly valued the importance of education, understanding that it can open many doors. This was emphasized through her 20+ years as a middle and high school English teacher and high school counselor. She continued her passion for education as a Christian counselor and a Methodist pastor. This fund will be used to create a scholarship that aims to honor the memory of Shirley Connally by helping students achieve their educational goals. Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who is pursuing a career in education may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are attending or planning to attend Texas Southern University.
