Our story
Scott W. Van Antwerp was a proud alum of The University Of Washington and was a loyal lifelong Huskies fan. He enjoyed traveling the world, seeing the sites, and eating all of the worldly foods he could. Scott was also a remarkable plumber who spent the majority of his life perfecting his craft by learning all top of the line tips, tricks, and tools required to be the best at his job.
With these skills he helped financially provide for his family, and even gave his time generously to his friends. He was passionate about his Rad Power bike, eating Cheetos, coin collecting, and his Grandchildren. Scott was a knowledge seeker, and a highly opinionated voter. In his later life he loved a good brain teaser, spending time with his son and grand kids, and improving his home. He became an avid gardener, and a serious hummingbird lover. Scott was multifaceted, a straight shooter, and had a genuine heart of gold once you got past his deep sarcasm.
Our goal
I would like to create this fund in memory of my father in law who recently passed from aggressive pancreatic cancer. He was a plumber who attended University of Washington, and an avid learner. We now own our own construction/remodel company, and this fund will be a way of helping my husband feel like his fathers legacy is living on through others who also are passionate about their futures in the trades.

May these funds bless someone with opportunity and allow them to experience the love of Jesus.

We truly hope to pass on blessings to students/trades passionate individuals and allow Grandpa Scott’s memory to live on!
