SCOPE Scholarship for Excellence in Psychological Science

I am starting the SCOPE Scholarship for Excellence in Psychological Science to support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing academic, research, and professional goals in psychology and related fields. The fund grew out of my experience teaching and mentoring students who are committed to psychological science but may face financial barriers that limit access to research materials, academic resources, professional development opportunities, and other forms of support. The goal of this fund is to reduce those barriers by providing practical assistance for research project needs or general academic needs, such as participant compensation, books, software, conference expenses, assessment materials, or other psychology-related costs. Ultimately, this scholarship is intended to encourage student growth, support meaningful engagement with psychological science, and help the next generation of scholars, researchers, clinicians, and professionals continue moving forward in their academic and professional development.
