Our story
Sarah Margo Brothers was born October 10, 1957. She was married to Ernest Brothers, Sr and with him had 3 sons: Ernest Brothers, Jr, Jeffrey D. Brothers, and Sean M. Brothers. In accordance with their fervent faith, she and her husband fostered many children and had the honor of welcoming twins, Adashia M. Brothers and June Brothers, into their family in 2000. She adored all 5 of her children, and her care for them and ensuring their faith is evident to this day.
Sarah was an avid lifelong learner, a lively person, a passionate educator of young children, and an advocate for those with special needs.
She served as valedictorian of her high school, graduated with honors from college, and served in her local church in the youth ministry as well as the local education system as a teacher.
Those who knew her and even those who only met her all agree that she was full of joy, laughter, encouragement, and most of all a passion for her faith in Christ.
She inspired many in her life and even after her untimely passing of a rare condition (sarcoidosis) in 2009.
It is out of honor for her love of education and hope to fill gaps in healthcare that this fund is being developed.
