Our story

This is in memory of Sandy Jenkins, who was a beloved preschool director for over fifteen years in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Sandy died in August of 2022 after courageously battling ovarian cancer almost four years. Sandy loved children and their families and devoted her life to nurturing and teaching preschool-aged children. This fund will be used to continue her legacy of excellent early childhood education by assisting deserving students in this field with their college expenses, thereby helping to raise up the next generation of teachers and leaders.

Our goal

This fund will be used to create scholarships for students studying early childhood education.
