Why We Created the Rooted in Excellence Scholarship Fund At Rooted in Royalty, we believe that empowering Black women begins with access—access to education, opportunity, and the support they need to flourish. That’s why we created the Rooted in Excellence Scholarship Fund: a dedicated initiative to support young Black women attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This scholarship is more than a financial contribution—it's an investment in the future leaders, creators, and changemakers of our community. By opening the fund to donations, we invite our customers, partners, and supporters to join us in this mission. Every dollar raised goes directly—100%—to covering educational expenses for deserving students. Together, we’re creating a legacy of excellence rooted in purpose, pride, and possibility.
