Our goal

Robin Irving Memorial Scholarship Fund In memory of Robin Irving, a dedicated Math teacher in Medford, MA, who inspired students for 48 years, the Irving Family Foundation is proud to establish the Robin Irving Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship honors her lifelong commitment to education and her passion for mathematics. The Robin Irving Memorial Scholarship will award one $1,000 scholarship annually to a young woman who is a senior at Medford High School and plans to pursue a degree in Math or Science. This scholarship aims to support and encourage young women to follow in Robin Irving’s footsteps by fostering their academic and professional growth in fields where they can make significant contributions. We hope this scholarship will continue Robin Irving’s legacy of dedication, excellence, and encouragement in the world of education.

I worked with Robin, and was saddened to hear of her passing. Her commitment to teaching and her students was unparalleled. This scholarship will be a wonderful commemoration of her legacy as a teacher.

Robin was a source of support, stories, and never-ending supplies that helped to aid our teaching. We will miss her company and most of all, her dedication to the students and families of Medford. Rest in sweetest peace, dear friend.
